Tennessee Lt.-Gov.: ‘I don’t know’ if Obama is US citizen
The lieutenant-governor of Tennessee, a candidate in this year's gubernatorial election, says he doesn't know if President Obama is a citizen of the United States.
In arguing against making President Obama's citizenship a political issue, Ron Ramsey told a meeting of Nashville Republicans, "I don't know whether President Obama is a citizen of the United States or not. I don't know what the whole deal is there."
Ramsey's comments, first reported by Jeff Woods at the Nashville Scene News Blog, came in response to a comment from Maclin Davis, a former Tennessee Republican Party lawyer..."It seems like it would be really good if somebody would file a suit against our present president to get back all the money he's been paid as president on the grounds he's not a legitimate president since he's not a native-born citizen," Davis said

Rupert Murdoch says destiny of News Corp newspapers is in paid-for online content
Rupert Murdoch said the destiny of News Corporation’s newspapers is in paid-for content, claiming that his media empire is “on the cusp of a digital dynasty” from which it will profit greatly.
Promising to announce major developments “in the next two months,” the owner of the Sun and Wall Street Journal said consumers want content on an array of devices, and are willing to pay.

U.S. 'Severely Threatened' By Cyber Attacks
Testifying before the Senate Intelligence Committee on Tuesday, the top U.S. intelligence official warned that U.S. critical infrastructure is "severely threatened" and called the recent cyber attack on Google "a wake-up call to those who have not taken this problem seriously."
To protect cyberspace, the U.S. government will need to collaborate more effectively with private sector partners and international authorities, said Blair.

Attempted Terror Attack Likely, Intelligence Chiefs Warn
An attempted al Qaeda attack against the United States is a high possibility in the next 3 to 6 months, the nations' top intelligence chiefs testified today.

CIA director Leon Panetta and FBI director Robert Mueller both told the committee they agreed with Blair's stark assessment, when asked by committee chairwoman Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif.

F-16 fighters to buzz Canton during air-defense training
“They will probably be about 2,000 or 3,000 feet (above ground). It will be visible to people on the ground. These will be fighters escorting general aviation aircraft as part of the exercise.”
NORAD is coordinating the mock defense maneuvers nationwide, preparing military personnel to identify and defend against domestic hostile acts such as the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks.

Washington DC transit system holds anti-terror drills
Dozens of police officers swarmed one of Washington DC's busiest stations with dogs and bomb technicians during Tuesday's morning rush hour, to demonstrate that the US capital city's transit system can thwart possible terror attacks.
In a bid to help bolster its defenses against a potential attack, the city transit agency formed a 20-member anti-terror team in December through a 9.6-million-dollar grant from the Department of Homeland Security
